Remember that island map of Godzilla's Revenge island with the lake monster? Well I translated a better scan and it seems the name of the lake its in is Lake Su. ... Dare we as a fandom name the beast Soosie?
That would be fitting!

Thoughts on that one Game and Watch game, Bombs Away, where Mario is in Vietnam?
Never played it.
Which of the main girls would spoil their children the most if they grow up to have some?
Honestly I think Diana would be the biggest sucker for her kids. The environment she grew up in was very cold and awkward, so I like to think she is the mom who makes rice krispies for her kids after school (especially because her mom couldn’t)
Horses are known to eat small mammals for calcium, and I can't help but imagine Swift Wind beating one of the kids to a rodent when they're young.
this is horrifying thank you
...As someone more connected to the pulse of cartoons, can you tell me if my personal issue of "playing domestic abuse of unmasculine male characters for laughs" that I've twice seen in women-centered shows is a widespread problem? Only asking because I was triggered so badly by it in the later case my PTSD worsened and I had to see a therapist. (I'v not been abused but turns out it still triggered m seeing someone being abused for being a failure for having mental disability similar to mine)
Jesus, I’m so sorry. Yes, this is a huge fucking problem, well outside of cartoons. People were starting to pay more attention to it, but then Gamergate happened, so now anyone who actually cares about not triggering people doesn’t care because they associate talking about caring about abused men with shitty MRAs who used it to shut down any feminist discussion. It’s shit, it’s huge shit, and it’s another problem I have with the current state of progressiveness.
We've had a mountain and a deep-sea gargantua. If Toho brought the concept of the gargantuas back, are there any other biomes you'd like to see designs for?

Unpopular (as in no one talks about it ,): Now the Satanic Panic is over Sega should play up Amy’s interest in the occult. Maybe even ocassionally act as a ghost hunter.
strongly agree | agree | neutral | disagree | strongly disagree
I never really saw Amy as a member of the occult per se, but I have said for years I want to see her psychic abilities and more spiritual side explored. The closest we ever got to seeing her use of tarot cards in game, for example, was a reference to them in Chronicles. I had never thought about it but it would be interesting to learn that she was a wiccan/witch/etc and how that would influence her character. A ghost hunter could certainly be interesting

I’d be upset at “stalking=love” trope, but this is...
I don’t think anything she did in this premiere really qualifies as stalking- she was definitely comically overenthusiastic and over-the-top and very blatant with her thirst, but she never watched her secretly or ignored Ms. Vampire’s wishes in any way. Like yes, she started coming over every day, but Ms. Vampire never asked her to stop... and she did bring her bags and be like I wanna move in which is again, super over the top, but it was very clear that if Ms. Vamp had said no in the end she would have actually left.
It’s definitely a “over-the-top-affection and fowardness is funny” and she was pretty pushy but the key for me is if the other party actually likes the affection and isn’t creeped out, and despite being mildly annoyed at first, Ms Vamp quickly realized she WAS into it. Her protests are always along the lines of “you’re like rushing things way too much slow your roll and calm down” not like “you’re making me uncomfortable” and the few times she was uncomfortable, she expresses it and Akari stops, so that’s the key for me. Like, when she was all “CAN I PET YOUR HAIR” Ms. Vamp said “no and you’re being a little scary” and she immediately snapped out of it and didn’t touch her, for instance.
