what is your process usually like? this is some of the coolest stuff I've ever seen
Basically, I'm a geek who lives out his fantasies. Exploring "What if…" scenarios brings me immense joy…
"What if drone footage from alternate universe looked like it was recorded on a glitchy VHS tape and viewed on an old TV?" or "How would a video game based on my favorite TV show, if it existed, be designed for an old-school PC?" or "What would an abstraction look like to the world of computing" intrigue me endlessly…Searching for answers to questions like this is a part of my artistic production, and I believe that the technological developments we are experiencing represent the pinnacle of achievement for a geek/dreamer at this moment. I have always been a guy of "endless possibilities" and this is the era of endless possibilities.
This was the part of creating a concept. Then comes the experimentation phase, where I dive deep into glitch art. It's not just about applying effects with apps; it's about pushing boundaries, bending data, and mixing signals until something unexpected and beautiful emerges. I prefer crafting custom scripts and exploring unconventional methods rather than relying on pre-made plugins. With AI and evolving technology, the realm of glitch art is constantly expanding, offering endless opportunities for creative exploration. Apart from my artistic production, I spend most of my time researching. Spending times on Github, CivitAI and internet archive. I enjoy crafting custom codes to explore different aesthetics and repurpose them in unexpected ways. When I stumble upon a style that resonates with me, I use it as a canvas to build new worlds.
I don't simply see myself as an artist; I consider myself an adventurer, syncing with the rhythm of the era and infusing it with my essence. My basic principles: I don't like superficiality, I dig deep, always be adventurous, go beyond plugins and filters, not exploiting the feeling of nostalgia and building a better nostalgia.
Thanks for asking!
My artificial self is evolving. Faster than me.
