Neil stood beside Sebastian, staring at the tear in the Veil with worry. He put a hand over his husband's and sighed. "It won't be easy... But we'll get through it together. We always do," he smiled softly and stared up at the Prince. The Starkhaven mages were already working to figure out how to close those tears. The city's defenses were strong, but everyone was understandably nervous. These weren't other humans they were fighting, they were demons.

The girls were really flaunting over Sebastian tonight. Neil couldn't get any time alone with the archer. Thankfully, Sebastian could usually politely tell the girls to leave. Some left, and some took a little more persuading. It was exhausting and annoying to Neil. When he noticed yet another person heading their way with that particular look on their face, Neil sighed and turned to Sebastian. Without a hint of warning, Hawke leaned against him and pressed their lips together in a rough kiss. It was time everyone in this damned tavern learned just who Sebastian was with.
