ᕙ( •̀ ︿•́ )ᕗ You've grown son but can you surpass your old man?
FIGHT ME | ACCEPTING
This sounded just like an opportunity to knock his old bones to the ground, to prove that all those brawls and ‘senseless’ conflicts weren’t at all a hindrance to his growth. In his gut, Jacob knew that he learned faster and better in combat than to sink his face in scriptures and history. He was NOT a child anymore, he’s now bigger, tougher & already about to reach his father’s height with his (and Evie’s) 18th birthday dragging closer.
❝ You are on, father! ❞
He accepted, taunting and getting into his own stance while the older man stood calmly with uncertainty painting over the scowl on his expression ; it just fueled a determination in the boy to prove the man WRONG, to prove his sister WRONG & to triumphantly brag to his mother when he gets back home (careful not to utter the former Knight’s name).
