Aww, c’mon Doc-o! No need ta play coy~ I’m talkin’ bout that not-so-secret love int’rest o’yours! Should I be keepin an eye out for an invitation?

“…………” Junkenstein begins to fidget, twisting the fabric of his lab coat between his fingers.Does this mean Tick is okay with him fancying Roo or is Doc himself misunderstanding just what is going on? He isn’t sure which is the right answer but he needs to get better at being more bold when it comes to others addressing his love life and interests. “Wouldn’t I need to propose first and have a ring of some sort?” He chuckles lightly.

How do ya take your coffee?

“By the carafe,” he chuckles as if it were a joke instead of a sad truth. 

“Generally black though it is better if one adds flavored creamer.” Chocolate creamer especially. The few times, yes there had been multiple, Junkenstein had learned (and re-learned) that just adding chocolate itself generally resulted in a mess that formed at the bottom and made clean up even more a chore.

Any chance ye know how ta make ice cream?

“I know what goes into it,” Junkenstein admits only to pull a face and look elsewhere. “It can’t possibly be that difficult. It’s just heavy cream, milk, sugar, salt, and vanilla.” Unless one wanted to make it another flavor but then they just needed to add whatever else they wanted in the mixing process right? “Were you planning to make some or something?”

Why was it that whenever these two were alone they were either going to share a meaningful conversation or fight? Right now it would appear the latter was going to be in effect. 

Junkenstein meet Tick’s stare when he issued the challenge but all Doc did was tsk at him. The noise making it sound as if he was going to decline and recommend they stop all their petty squabbling and behave like rational adults. He even rolls his eyes for a little extra flare as he makes to move past on Tick’s right. It is then he strikes.

Boot knocking out the peg leg to throw his opponent off balance as he grabs for the junker from behind. Unfortunately Tick doesn’t wear a shirt but the leather harness gives him something more to hold onto as he uses his weight to follow through and knock Tick to the ground. 

“You won’t best me this time,” Junkenstein reassures. It is then that he makes his move to try and climb on top of Tick to pin him down in hopes to immobilize him for a quick victory.

So when’s the wedding, Doc?

At first he suspects this has to do with all that Junker Queen nonsense that has been drifting around like mad as of late. But that can not be it as surely he would be just flat out murdered instead. Still, he is weary and skeptical of the question. “…What wedding?” Might as well ask and find out where this leads.
