I'm currently uploading a video onto my YouTube channel to be made public this week, and this pops up on my main page.

Giro creativo: la tensión de los hechos se contrarresta con unos subtítulos caracterizados por su humor absurdo y, lo que es más importante a efectos de la campaña, presentados a un tamaño con el que una persona con visión normal debería leerlos sin problema.
I went to the eye doctor a week and a half ago and they were slammed, so it took like 2 hours for me to actually get out of there. I spent 2 hours picking out a pair of glasses and got attached to them. Shelled out $365 after insurance and was told id have my glasses in 2 weeks.
These are a luxury item in my mind. Zenni Optical would get me 5 pairs of glasses for the same cost and I'd be able to pick them out in the comfort of my own home. However, these get specially measured for my face and I got to actually try them on.
Well, they just called and said they don't have my frames. (So they took 12 days to tell me they don't have the glasses I was expecting Monday). However, they have the same shape in blue, but they can't send me a picture and because the ones I picked out aren't on their website, I can't see them. The website does show how similar the patterns are on the frames though, and they are not similar. So I'm now faced with spending $365 on unseen glasses,or going back in to possibly spend another 2 hours waiting to get helped after picking out new frames.
I'm fairly easy going, but this is bullshit. I'm getting married this year. These will most likely be the glasses in all my wedding pictures. I'm wearing these on my face every day for the next year. And they expected me to spend luxury, brand name prices on something I can't see before I spend all this money?
I'm going to go in, ask what they plan to do for the inconvenience and if it's not enough, go spend the difference from what I'll buy for mail order frames on board games at the store a 4 minute walk away. I can buy a LOT of Dnd miniatures for $300.
guys, I gotta give a shoutout to my company. last year, they gave us rainbow buttons, sent out a memo to every store explaining the origin of Pride month, and added the option to put pronouns on our name tags.
this year, they've got t-shirts with the new Pride flag on the arm.
in the past, they sent out an email celebrating derek chauvin's conviction and invited us to a virtual Juneteenth celebration. our newest marketing features someone on the autistic spectrum.
Visionworks (owned by VSP) legitimately stands with the LGBTQ/queer, POC, and disabled communities. so if you need an eye exam, glasses or contacts, an adjustment, vision insurance, etc, know that your money is going to a company that doesn't just say the right words.
