The headquarters of the Catholic Church is located in its own small country: Vatican City. It is the smallest country in the world! In this country, visitors can visit the infamous Vatican Museums, which contains the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. However, my all time favorite thing to do in Vatican City is not known about by many people. Did you know you can take a special tour and go underneath St. Peter’s Basilica to see the necropolis (some remains of original Rome) and St. Peter’s gravesite? In order to get on this tour you have to book months ahead of time.
