It’s been a really rough week in several different ways, so I welcomed the escape of last night’s “Gel Plate - Creating a Landscape” class taught by WAC Member Artist Leslie Harper-Reid and held at Walkerville Artists Collective. Sadly my mental capacity was pretty much tapped out, so I struggled a bit with getting things to work the way I needed them to, but it’s all good. Here are a few of my prints - I see lots of practice in my future. 😂😜 Looking forward to the next time!

Now that Windsor has moved into the “Red - Control” zone, Walkerville Artists’ Co-op is pleased to announce that are reopening our gallery with limited hours, maximum ten visitors at a time, and all safety protocols in place. Our gallery walls have had a new coat of paint, our displays have been refreshed, and our artist members have been creating some beautiful work during lockdown, so we hope you will stop by and check it all out!

For the time being, our official hours of operation will be as follows:

Tuesday to Friday - 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday - 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

While we aim to have the gallery fully open during these times, please note that as we are staffed entirely by our artist members on a voluntary basis, there may be occasions where maintaining full shifts is simply not possible. With that in mind, we recommend that you call ahead to [phone] if you are planning on stopping by, to confirm the operating hours for that day. When you visit us, please wear a mask at all times, sanitize your hands at the front door, and observe physical distancing for the safety of yourself, our staff, and other gallery visitors.
