Foxy Production presents: Gordon Hall's "Never Odd of Even"

Foxy Production presents a solo exhibition by Gordon Hall. The exhibition, entitled "Never Odd or Even," applies an unconventional logic to the language of abstraction. Hall is interested in precision and subtle differences, in the ambiguities that may lie between or within objects. The exhibition includes constructed and found floor-based objects, and interventions within the gallery space.

Gordon Hall holds both an MA in Visual and Critical Studies and an MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago. Exhibition venues include: Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, NY (forthcoming); Kent Fine Art, New York, NY, with performance (forthcoming); Night Club, Chicago (solo); and Clough-Hanson Gallery, Rhodes College. Memphis, TN (all 2014.) Hall is the director of the Center for Experimental Lectures, a lecture-performance series that has been hosted by MoMA PS1, Recess, The Shandaken Project, Alderman Exhibitions, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, producing a series of lectures and seminars in conjunction with the 2014 Whitney Biennial.

The show will run from September 5 to October 4. Opening reception will take place on September 5 from 6 to 8pm at 623 West 27 St, New York, NY.
