This week, It’s workshop day, we continue to build our model. The teacher who brought Sony VR game gives us to play. The final picture is Ray, and he is very enjoy this game!

For this week, Ying and I try to use Unity to made VR model. I first touch this software, which is very hard for me. It contain 3D model, coding #c. OMG! I need learn a lot things. Helpfully, Ying learns this software in last semester; she can do it. We submit us this week process and what problems we have.

The third week, the teacher taken oculus to give us to experience the painting game. This game is very fantastic because you draw in the 3D space and it contains many different brush. I think it will very helpful for the artist to create new art. And then, Ying with me present our project. We told everybody we team devision, storyboard, moodboard, and a concept video. For the next week, we need to use Unity build it.

The first week, we met two teachers who are excellent at VR technology. And they bring three different VR technology for us to experience different products VR experience. There have Google Daydream, Gear VR, Holoens. For this class, I though the presentation is known three different kinds of visual experience: VR(Virtual reality), AR (Augmented Reality)and MR(Mixed reality). The VR can be referred to as immersive multimedia or computer-simulated reality, replicates an environment that simulates a physical presence in places in the real world or an imagined world, allowing the user to interact in that world., and AR work with environment and MR is the merging of real and virtual worlds to produce new environments and visualisations where physical and digital objects co-exist and interact in real time. Then we knew the VR ecosystem output contains 4 part: Head mounted display, controllers, fingers, and cameras or sensors. Overall, I got the basic knowledge about VR technology. So, for this week everyone starts to prepare the general ideas about VR projects.
