For the final week in this semester, what I have done is running my case study. I got a bunch of suggestions for Z. Based on her advices, I added a new test flow. and a new page to introduce Betterment how it helps people and how is unique than others. Also, always checked the spelling and grammar problems.   Finally, advertising part I made a poster which uses calendar to combine the words: “Keep do it”. I believe it fun and people would base on calendar to imagine the Betterment is an effective application.

This week, I did three things:

1. Refined presentation. I added the development page to introduce the IOT project. Also, I changed the logic for presentation deck.

2. Made an appointment for Jarrod to help me check my presentation deck grammar.

Here is the Z and Jarrod gave me the presentation deck feedback. I printed my presentation deck out. Jarrod checks my grammar and Z check my whole design process. I met Z on Tuesday, she gave me some suggestions for the devices. She thought that my application should focus on devices which are the T-shirt. Also, the T-shirt design should be fun for users. She gave me some ideas for T-shirt, which how to present the user achieved, such as use many LED dots to show the days. I will rethink it and reversion my devices.

This week, I started UX test for my application test flow. I did test plan first, and I find 4 person who are my target audience. I gave to them to test 3 flows, the first one is setting a habit that practice sketch everyday in evening, and second one is share reward on Twitter, the third test is share achieved day in T-shirt. My test users finished very well. Also, I get some feedbacks, I list of them to my application interface. And I will refine it on next time.

#Group work

For this week, we group work together to finish three user task flow. We made three main function that contains our application and devices. Here’s our work.

Here’s my moodboard, I collected two types of images: one is application design and other is outside the world of interactive design. You can see I choice many bright color’s work, because I want my application that gives people motivation and energy to keep habits.

This week, we are thinking about our project's name and logo. We as a group to do like brainstorm, concept imagination and logo design. Each one has a paper, we come up ideas and sketch on it. Also, in the class, Z uses my projects as an example to do user's text and gives me many feedbacks. I found my work need more details to show every step for the user. Although I found a lot of problems, but I think it helps my work more perfect.

For this week, everyone presents their process in class and got feedbacks for Z. For my task flow, there are two things need to change, the first one is setting the goal is too complicated, because the user needs to click 3 steps to finish the goal setting. The other one is It should show some reward to encourage the user to keep going their goals. So, this week, I focus on these two parts and here’s my work for this week.

In this week, I went to the IOT workshop and got inspiration for the my T-shirt devices. The teacher has shared me a website that is Adafurit.com. There has an example is to scroll text messages on your bag. That is very smaller with my T-shirt Idea. So, I got inspiration from it and I will use a pocket insider the T-shirt and it can contain the LED Matrix.

#Co-creation

I invited my two target audiences to discuss my project. At first, I present my design stuff, the whole process, and prototype for them. Later, they give me some suggestions such as for the colors choice; it should give the user more energy, such as the orange and red color. Now, my interface colors use cool colors such as blue,  purple. Then, we start to brainstorm that gives me inspiration for my subject; I offer a word "Habits, " and we image many relations words. Finally, we took about the device - T-shirt, Ray gives me a good example that she bought the hooide, it printed Chinese words" ni hao", everytime she wears this cloth, her friends always ask her what's the meaning of this words that is the very good example to convey the information on the friends.

This spring break, I still need to work to finish my presentation. This picture is my cover for PPT, and I designed the new layout for the power point. This is a heavy task.

Based on my journey map, I sketched one user story. It Illustrated HOW my target audience Lionel who will use my product. This story start at the Lionel wants to keep practice sketch everyday. And he encounters the problem that is hard to keep practice. Then, he find the Beyond app, and final this app works that help Lionel keep this habit many days.
