In light of what’s going on with the controversy that’s taking place, I’m opening my asks and messages to anyone and everyone that wants to talk about race and gender, and how that bleeds into the Twilight saga.

I am a latinamerican woman and I’m a scholar specializing in visual culture, so I can bring to the table how we have created certain discourses around race, gender and class through visual content.

Let’s have a talk, let’s see the different perspectives surrounding the many problems the saga has in terms of representation and, above all, let’s all learn from each other. My communication channels are open and I would love to share with everyone what I know, give some reading suggestions on the topics I know about, and learn from all of you too.

解構藝術之路。

Chad Wys是八零後的美國人。 介紹自己是這麼說的：他的偶像是印象派，他的舞台是博物館，青春期迷戀著藝術及歷史。2011年從伊利諾伊州立大學拿到視覺文化相關的碩士學位；一個著重於藝術史、視覺理論與哲學的學科。正因如此，在個人設計歷程及出版物當中，都以拆解藝術的手法，成為個人特色。

他的作品，充滿哲學味，總認為自己一直擅長於平面設計領域，但對於繪畫這種行為，個人並非做得很出色。直到讀研究所後，他從視覺藝術的角度中，開發出個人鮮明的使用詞彙，作為未來開始創作的基礎。所以，這場持續的創作路程中，他是著墨在藝術本體如何被哲學解構的中心思考居多。他的思考面向：是為了挖掘那些眾多藝術複製品的背後，或重新解讀下的體驗內容。回顧關鍵歷史時刻，從工業革命開啟了一道洪水，無止盡又規模龐大的機械時代，讓各種複製品氾濫，來到如今數位時代，充斥各種即時傳播方法，又更加延伸出許多無法界定的美學與環境。

Chad Wys個人的精彩思考，不僅是在作品中，而是無界限的數位時代中，我們所看到的形式和功能，到底應該屬於什麼？

值得大家放空自己，重新連結關於舊時代的思索。
