I wanted to share my first ever paranormal visitor.

One night on my early teens, I was having trouble sleeping because things just felt “off” and I swear I could hear footsteps pacing back and forth next to my bed even though I was alone in my room.

I was too scared to sleep so I joined my father in our living room to watch TV until he decided it was time to go to bed.

I don’t think it was more than five minutes after getting in bed that my eyes were pulled to a man standing in the corner of my room.

My room was pitch back but I could see him as though he was standing in daylight.

He was white, had glasses and long dreads and wearing a white T-shirt.

His face was so blank and empty, no expression at all.

He was holding something, not menacingly but more like maybe a bouquet?

I didn’t get to inspect what he was holding before I started screaming out of fright so loudly I think my mum nearly ripped the door off it’s hinges trying to get it.

Never saw him after that and even with all my late night visitors since then, I’ve never screamed like that since.

Many years ago now I owned an Ouija board, and used it the best I could following the instructions. Nothing ever happened and it sat in a box, eventually forgotten about. Until years later, I was repeatedly woken up in the middle of the night by shadow beings crawling out of my cupboard, leaning over my bed. I had nights were shadow arms were reaching out of the cupboard towards me. I couldn’t figure out where they were coming from or why they were trying to get to me. Then I realised, the spot they were coming from was the box where I kept the board. I noped out of that and got rid of the board the immediate next morning and never had another experience like that again. I always thought that ouija boards were no more dangerous than any other form of paranormal communication. I was wrong, be careful with them.

I had a visitor in the middle night about a week and half ago. I could only describe him as being “lumpy” and black. Closest thing I could find to try and show what he looked like what this shadow enemy from Drawn to life.
