-"Ok Lu, you got this! You've done this a thousand times before. Track hollow, capture hollow, kill hollow." Luna said to herself. Counting down from three, she gathered a large ball of shadows in her hand, and ran straight to the door.

"Ay! Who goes there!?" A little kid yelled. The humming had stopped, meaning it was Elliot.

"You Elliot?" She called out.

"So what if I am!?" He yelled back. "I dunno ya!"

"My names Luna. I'm from the childrens home in the graveyard just yonder. I was sent here to tell you it's not safe here anymore."

"What do ya mean!? I've been here my whole life, and I'm still standing."

"Monsters have come." Luna said, her voice cracking. "You know, all of those extraordinary things you can do but no one else can? That's why they're after you. Please, Elliot, I'll explain when we get to the house."-

"How do ya know about-" He paused, looking around and seeming to reconsider. "What monsters, I don't see nothing!" He was still skeptic, but she knew something about him that no one else was supposed to.

"You can't see them." She said quickly. "I can't see them either, but they're here. Trust me. It's no longer safe."

"Well I don't trust ya!" He snapped.

"Elliot, please just-" She froze when she heard something tapping on glass. Luna and Elliot carefully turned towards the source of the sound. It was a sparrow. Tapping on the window with its beak. Luna immediately felt herself relax. That was Ms. Sparrow. It had to be. Which means Iris and the others are safe. She turned back to Elliot. "See that sparrow? We have to follow it back."

"Ya sound crazy!" He cried out, stepping back. Luna wanted to grab him and run out of there, but she knew that would lead to nothing. It was already hard enough to reason with him.

Just as she was about to speak up, the tapping got more frantic. Luna glanced over at the window again, only to see an extremely agitated sparrow. She frowned, glancing around trying to find out what was making Ms. Sparrow so worried. She froze when she heard a box fall over.

There was nothing there when she whipped around to look. Only a trail of fallen boxes and items.

"Elliot", she whispered, "When I cover this monster in shadows, you run out and follow that sparrow, okay?"

"What are ya talking about?!" He cried out once more. Luna didn't reason with him any longer. She started pulling the shadows towards the trail of fallen items, revealing the hollowgast in front of them.

Who are four traumatized people in the house? Whether it's an ymbryne, child, or newcomer, I'm making the Typewrite Lesson trend and want to do it for some people here!

Oh, that's awesome!! :D If we could see the result when it's done (if that's possible lol) that'd be great!

I'd say the four most traumatized are Ms. Flamingo, Ms. Sparrow, Philip and Peter! I'll give summaries of their backstories below!

TW: Child abuse, murder, human trafficking, religious trauma, manslaughter

Caroline Flamingo: Caroline Lindgren was heavily isolated from society for most of her childhood, and was given pills by her parents to keep her weak. She escaped her home one day and was invited into the Ymbryne Academy, despite knowing barely any English and not knowing how anything worked. There, she met Vivian, who taught her English (she also started developing a crush on her that would persist until the end). Then, her parents had managed to track her and had captured Vivian, using her as leverage for Caroline to come back home. Vivian managed to grab the gun and shot her two parents in front of her. She comforted Vivian, who had just killed two people, despite being traumatized from the sight herself. Caroline buried her parents, and despite hating them for what they did, she still grieved for them. She finished up her studies with Vivian and officially became Ms. Flamingo.

Vivian Sparrow: Vivian's parents (non-peculiars) were so horrified by their daughter's powers that they sold her on what was essentially the black market. She was abandoned in the woods after around 11 years of being trafficked, and so was taken into the Ymbryne Academy. She met Caroline, taught her English and became best friends with her. She was captured and held at gunpoint by Caroline's parents, though she managed to grab the gun and shot them. This was horrifying for her and she wasn't able to see herself as anything other than a killer for a while. She kept that secret with her throughout her whole life. She eventually graduated with Caroline, officially becoming Ms. Sparrow and starting a children's home.

Philip Bourne: Philip (deadname was Phoebe, but I will be referring to him as Philip throughout) was born into a cult that worshipped a bird-like goddess. His mother, also an Ymbryne, was worshipped to an extreme and feared for Philip because she knew the same would happen to him. Once Philip started showing signs of being an Ymbryne, the cultists were unable to believe there were two avatars of the goddess. They murdered his mother so there would only be one, and they also believed Philip was purer. Philip underwent the same extreme worship and hated it, because of the immense pressure and the fact that he didn't feel like a girl, despite supposedly being a "goddess." He also felt especially guilty for his mother's death. One day however, Ms. Sparrow came upon the cult (she was a friend of Phil's mom) and was horrified by what was happening. She took down the cult and brought Philip with her, where he would be safe. He was eventually able to figure himself out, though he still regularly has nightmares from his experiences.

Peter Mason: Peter's peculiarity is that everything he can drain someone of life with the touch of his hands. While at birth, it just merely drained someone of energy, it evolved to become scarily more powerful as he grew up. He was already used to being alone, since everyone around him never seemed to have the energy to be around him. Things got a lot worse for him though when he had accidentally broken his mother's flower vase. He ran to her, crying and apologizing, and pulled her into a hug. With such strong emotions coursing through him, he fully drained her of life and unintentionally killed her. He didn't realize until he let go of the hug. The pieces finally clicked in Peter's head and he realized what horrible power he had. He grabbed a pair of gloves and ran away from home that very night, unable to forgive himself for what he'd done. He was eventually found and brought into Ms. Sparrow's home.

Guinevere content because I missed her birthday 😭

There's a lengthy explanation of most of her lore under the cut!

Life 1 - Having grown up in Salem around the time of the witch trials, Guinevere Durant (nèe Hale) married John Durant, who soon became the head of the local witch hunt. They had three kids, Alice, Brian, and George, before anything went wrong. One night, while on a walk with her husband, Guinevere's eyes adjusted themselves to see better in the dark without her knowing. Since cat eyes look very different to Human eyes, her husband noticed right away and was immediately very sure that she was a witch. He had her burned at the stake because of this. Alice was burned not long after, however she was in no way peculiar and just died.

Life 2 - Guinevere's peculiarity allowed her to take over the body of an English noblewoman a few years after her death. She did not feel any time pass, n'or was she aware of what her peculiarity had done. Due to this fact and her intense panic and the fact that she was suddenly speaking with a foreign accent, she was quickly thrown into a mental hospital, which, since it was the 1700s, was notoriously very very bad. She was trapped there for a short enough time that she managed to hold her sanity together. She was broken out by a Wight named Joshua Hughes, who was trapped in a situation of his own, having been forced to join the group of Wights via his father giving him the ultimatum of either joining or getting disowned, to which he responded by caving under pressure but quickly realizing that he did not want to be there and running away. He attempted to help Guinevere recover, which succeeded for a little while but she still died fairly young.

Life 3 - Guinevere's found herself in the body of a middle class Englishwoman in the 1910s. She located Joshua quickly and got a proper grasp on what peculiarity is and how hers worked. She chose to change her last name from Durant to Feline to take control of her own life back. For the most part, this life was fairly happy for the both of them. They lived peacefully together until 1941, when Guinevere discovered Vivian Sparrow, and split from Joshua to help her. Doing this ended up involving going to the modern day and taking a dive off a cliff in order to reincarnate without aging forward.

Life 4 - Guinevere took the time to go to medical school and get therapy before she returned to the past.
