Loved the new NGL chapter! I have been trying to become a more active reviewer, but I don't always have anything smart to say. So I always feel kinda silly just writing "great chapter, love this story", and I was wondering what kind of reviews do you like to get? (so I can get some inspiration)

Honestly? “Great chapter, love this story!” is perfect.

Shaya usually copies and pastes a line she especially liked followed by - ‘love this!’ or ‘I died!’ and everyone adores her reviews because they are so enthusiastic even though, really, they are 90% content from the story with very brief remarks added. I  did that for a review for Obnoxious and it felt kind of dumb because I was just quoting things back, but @littlemulattokitten loved it and told me I left the best reviews so... what feels dumb from the POV of the reviewer can feel great from the POV of the writer.

And thank you for telling me you loved it!

LOL.  I’ve got one more chapter prepped and then it’s really just about inspiration.  Once school starts I’ll have more time to plug away at things and I should be able to proceed, albeit slowly.  Do you want me to put up chapter 9 now?

Thank YOU.  Drastoria isn’t a popular ship but I enjoy imagining what Astoria would be like.  I’ve got one more chapter written and then I need to sit down and think about what comes next or if I let her sink into the abyss of the eternal hiatus.

I love the Malfoys in LB. Lucius and Narcissa are my all time favourite couple and I love to read stories where they have such a good relationship with each other and with Draco too

Oh, I’m glad. I know we all tend to write them as villains but canonically they love one another and love Draco.  If they fail as parents it’s not by being abusive but by being over-indulgent and spoiling the kid rotten.

Dharmachari Vivekapriya

With sadness we announce the death of Dharmachari Vivekapriya who died in hospital in the evening of Tuesday 28th October. Vivekapriya was 66 years old and lived in Maharashtra, India, where he was connected with the Triratna centre in Wardha. He had suffered with asthma for several months. He was ordained on 16th October 1988 and Bhante was his private and public preceptor. Becoming involved with Triratna he gave up his job and contributed many years to develop the Bordharan Retreat Centre, and to build the sangha in Vidharbha. His funeral programme will start from his home on 29th October, at 5pm.
