With a happy heart, I met Mr. Alan Oppenheimer (voice of Vanity Smurf) today at Creep I.E. Con at Ontario Convention Center...🥹💕
My dearest wish came true today when I spoke with Vanity Smurf's original voice actor, Mr. Oppenheimer. He was polite to me and friendly and he spoke to me in Vanity's voice!! 🥹 I remember he said to me, "I'm Vanity Smurf and this is my mirror!" (while he held my Vanity Smurf plush and held my heart shaped pink mirror) Then Mr. O continued to me, (in Vanity's voice) "And which Smurf are you?" Confidently, I replied with a smile "I'm Smurfazalea!" Vanity said, "Smurfazalea, Smurfazalea. You're beautiful." 🤗🦋🌸✨ If you haven't met Mr. Alan Oppenheimer in person, you are missing out on your happiness of a lifetime because he genuinely enjoyed talking with me about Vanity and he told me he was surprised that I was the only fan who mentioned Vanity Smurf to him in many years! Many fans talk to him about Falkor and Skeletor, but I was the refreshing centerpiece at his table who brought up things about Vanity that Mr. O. forgot about.
You know, it's been 40 years since he voice acted as Vanity in the classic Smurfs cartoon. 😃 Mr. O. sweetly smiled at me with his soft brown eyes, (shook my right hand three times!) And I continued giggling every time he spoke in Vanity's voice. ✨WOW✨ My dad was there with me talking to him as well, and Mr. O. really liked my Vanity Smurf shirt that I custom-designed, Mr. O. said it's very cute and beautiful. He also thought my Vanity plush was beautiful.☺️As long as I live, I told him, "I only came to see you and I'll never forget this day!" 🥹 I left the building feeling on top of the whole planet Earth. 🌎
Lastly, I wish Mr. Alan Oppenheimer, & Vanity Smurf, all the best! 💕Thank you, thank you, Mr. O. for giving us Vanity's beautiful voice. Thank you, Lord, for the best day of my life🙏🙏🌸💕✨
