Dogday likes to sunbathe, he’ll get on top of his roof and lay all out to get that vitamin D

When she was little, craftycorn’s parents have considered getting a second fridge to hang her drawings on

Dogday is the oldest while picky is the youngest

Bubba is the tallest while Catnap is the shortest

Since we don’t get actual voice lines for cartoon catnap, my hc voice would be Sleet from Sonic Underground

Picky likes to cook for the critter gang (if she makes something bad, the gang will eat it anyways to spare her feelings)

To fit the “cool kid” persona, kickin is the second leader after Dogday

Bubba likes to study mammalogy, physiology, and Ethology

Bubba likes to play the math board games such as Prime Crime and Tsuro, much to Hoppy’s dismay cause she can never beat him

Bobby has tried time and time again to play matchmaker among the group and has failed every time

Catnap has two pet mice. Their names are gibbous and crescent

Hoppy was the one who taught kickin how to surf

Bobby keeps a first aid kit on her at all times

Kickin is the that person who does the shoulder tap prank

Bobby is the group therapist as she is very comforting to talk to. Even Dogday has come to her when down in the dumps

Hoppy is the one who slaps the top of door frames

Both Dogday and Crafty struggle with being people pleasers

When playing hide and go seek, Dogday can’t be it cause he can just sniff out where everyone is hiding

Catnap loves Halloween

Hoppy is the picky eater of the gang, so Picky tries to introduce her to different things. And the results have varied

Kickin has had like 7 different girlfriends in the past. (Bobby is very disappointed in him)

Not only can Crafty draw, she is also a talented singer. (It’s giving sweetie belle from mlp)

Dogday plays the acoustic guitar

Catnap has an entire closet of onesies, gowns, and other pajamas

My Smiling Critters headcanons Part 2( ⚠️Poppy Playtime Orientation Book spoilers ahead⚠️)

🌞🍎⭐️💡❤️🎨⚡️🌛

Sometimes Bubba will mumble his thought process to himself (like Deku from Mha) and everyone just stares until someone asks if he’s done or if he’s ok

Bobby is Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy’s #1 fan. They’re her favorite couple.

Kickin has a high pitched scream. Hoppy once jumped from behind a bush and scared him, and she will never let him live it down for as long as she lives.

Crafty and Catnap have become good friends due to their common shyness and awkwardness. They help each other improve their social skills and stick by each other to not feel alone when the whole gang is together. (Dogday is proud of both of them)

Catnap likes to watch Crafty draw. And Crafty has even offered to teach him on a few occasions.

Picky and Bobby have a garden where they grow flowers, fruits, and vegetables together

Dogday has had to help Catnap down from trees on a few occasions

Favorite Flavor Ice Cream :

Dogday: Peanut Butter

Bobby: Raspberry & chocolate chip

Bubba: Matcha

Picky: Every Flavor but if she had to pick one , it’d be birthday cake

Crafty: Cotton candy

Hoppy: She doesn’t like ice cream, she prefers snow cones and popsicles. Her favorite flavor is Green Apple

Kickin: Orange Dreamiscle

Catnap: Chocolate (basic ahh)

The critters have to be careful where they step when going to Dogday’s house. He digs holes around his house and it’s easy to fall in one.

Bubba snacks on peanuts

Hoppy’s parents are professional athletes

I feel as though playtime co. should have made Catnap more like Linus from the Peanuts comics. That would have toned down his creepiness and would have made him more appealing to children (Heck, give him a comfort blanket for when he decides to randomly nap)

If the smiling critters were successful enough I think the critters who would have gotten spin off content would be Crafty and Kickin

Crafty collects rocks, seashells, and marbles

Hoppy likes to invite her friends on morning jogs with her

Hoppy tries to get Crafty to come out of her shell. Her and Bobby are the Crafty’s biggest defenders

Picky loves Charlotte’s web for obvious reasons

Bubba documents Catnaps weird behavior. Dogday keeps telling him it’s just Catnap being Catnap

Dogday and Catnap are childhood friends.

When I see art of the critters with like, Huggy or Kissy I think it’s a crossover when it’s not………
