⏸—What is your character's go-to method when they need to stop or hold back sneezes? Does it typically work, or do they fail?
TBH I think the idea of "needing" to hold back/stop a sneeze would still be kind of a foreign concept to Vizha (something something firesneeze means relatively sterile release compared to other creatures means no cultural norms around containing it)... but after some loose straw made her nearly burn down a barn the party was bedding down in she's begun to grudgingly learn. It's an uphill battle, though—she is, to her chagrin and Kess's delight, pretty much hopeless at actually holding back. The best she can usually manage is a delay, and even that isn't necessarily a given.
Her usual routine is a quick snort, then a sharp upward rub with the heel of her hand, then various flavors of crinkling and scrunching theatrics (her nose is very active when she needs to sneeze, even moreso when she's fighting it). Worse case, if the urge itself is inevitable but she needs to contain the flames, she'll put a hand over her nose and mouth entirely and physically muffle the explosion as best she can. She hates doing that, though—lots of smoke and stray embers, not to mention incredibly unsatisfying.
