Holden Commodore (VK), 1984, aka "The Car your Nanna had" Introduced in February 1984, the VK represented the Commodore's most comprehensive restyling thus far. New full-height plastic wraparound bumpers front and rear, a new grille, clear indicators at the front and redesigned tail lights, and a new six-window glasshouse. The base SL was complemented by a fleet-targeted Executive, the SL/X became the Berlina and the new Calais designation was introduced to replace the range-topping SL/E. EFI also made its debut, and the 1.9 litre four-cylinder model was dropped from the range (having been more or less replaced by the Camira in 1982) #holden #gmh #vkcommodore
