Put one of these in my askbox to see how my Muse reacts: "Do you trust me?"
[ ♕ ] "What'd you say?" The words slipped out naturally, almost as if she was in disbelief that the other woman said what she did. Probably because it's not so often she hears that question; it's been years since she heard those words, that exact question yet she felt uneasy even hearing it coming from anyone in particular.
"Do you trust me, Naeun?" She gazes over at the other male suspiciously, eyeing him rather blankly and the emotion drawn upon her face was non-existent; a simple shrug was all she could give him and yet through out it all she no longer gazed into his eyes. He barely knew the guy, he was just a mere encounter that she probably won't ever meet once again in the future and honestly it's such a shame. That friendships and strong bonds never could exist in the woman's life. All because of one damn job.
Because surely enough from hours after their mission, the rain pouring against their figures with no umbrellas in between their grasp. Nothing. She stayed hours in the night, awaiting his presence. She glances around from left to right only to glance behind her own figure, the hand tucked inside of her coat was completely snapped out with the pistol out in the open. One simple movement, index finger pressing against the trigger and he's completely wiped out from the entire world.
He was going to kill her - but she beat him in a matter of seconds. Since his footsteps were faint and the tiny clinks was obvious enough to make sure Naeun got the message. Did she trust him? Of course not.
"I said do you trust me?" Jiyoung repeated it steadily, noticing how the younger was in a haze and she was completely dozing off. Though when she questioned the other once more, she was patiently awaiting her answer. She felt the need to watch over her, because she treated her kindly despite of how much she knows about Naeun. She was capable of erasing someone's life in seconds; but the thing is she used to be dangerous. They both know it as well.
With her palm resting on the nape of her neck, eyes meeting with one another as she thinks about it. Even now she still wasn't sure about the other but from their first encounter at the bar until this very day, they still watched over one another.
People - they were either besides you through the entire situation or they're behind you to watch you fall apart.
She answered honestly, perhaps Naeun was slightly frightened of trusting her because people normally would turn their backs on her. Though the moment she saw a smile lifted on the other's face, she mirrors it with a small sigh of relief slipping pass her lips. This time, did the silent female trust her? Perhaps so. Was it a wrong decision? Either way it's her own choice and if she puts herself in danger, she's willing to accept it all - even if that means she's going to die soon.
