With all the things that the American fans have done to the Voltron staff, all the discourse and all the horrible things that are going on, I prefer to the latinoamerican fandom. It's way more good that this (sorry for the word) shithole, we respect each other, we don't harass anyone, we don't fight for something we know IT'S FICTION, because we all have problems more important than fight because "if you don't like the things I like, I'll bully you". Because you all are so fucking focused on romance and shit that you straight out attack VAS and the staff. If you are angry that’s okay. But FUCKING SCREAMING THAT ITS A BAD SHOW AND ATTACKING OTHERS IS PATHETIC. The show it’s isn’t and never was about romance. If anything they were less than sideplots. Klance wasn’t going to become canon sorry to say this sweeties.

Shiro got a good ending. So does Lance. They are happy. What the fuck does it matter?? We didn’t see anybody else’s ending develop so why should shiros relationship be the only one focused on? It’s a time skip to see where they end off. You guys can come up with your own endings. That’s a lot more fun to me tbh. The show was about friendship and hope. And honestly I’m thankful. The shows helped me so much. As for those complaining about the writing??? Fuck off man that’s a clear excuse and we all know it. Season 8’s only problem is that the pacing is whack and allura’s ending should of been written better. I still don’t mind they killed her off like I like that ending. Very madoka like 😂

Bottom line is

You all cannot separate fanon from canon. You do realise you can enjoy ships and NOT BE TOXIC OR ANNOYING ABOUT IT.

Why does it matter that Klance or Sheith didn’t become canon? Pretty much no fucking ship did. And that’s okay. Why? Because yall should be happy with the story and not what characters kissing who. It was never about the romance. It was about the power of friendship and hope. It was so fucking inspiring. And what do you all focus on? What characters are fucking.

Listen having ships is okay? You just need to separate fanon from canon. Because that way you guys WON’T STRAIGHT UP MAKE LIES ABOUT THE SHOW.

You were never queer baited for Klance or Sheith. They were never planned nor gonna happen. And not because they were LGBT.

We have Adam and shiro. Yes this could of been handled ALOT better. But they were put in last minute for us. And again it wasn’t about romance. We need to stop focusing on shipping because honestly it’s just so fucking toxic and ridiculous. And this isn’t just online. I’ve seen it first hand irl at cons. Klancers and Shippers being straight up inconsiderate and inappropriate.

I honestly expect more from a show that’s so fucking grounded in friendship and purity. I’m glad the show ended the way it did. They don’t need relationships to validate them In anyway.

They saved the fucking universe and are being amazing human beings. That should be enough. And we should be good too.
