Fanon followups to The Fall of the Castle of Lions/Tears of Balmera and Crystal Venom just...have a really special place with me.

-Hunk grew up and learned to be less insular (why should he care if HIS Group’s okay?) and went from Least Committed to Most Committed of the s1 Paladins (after Shiro)
-Pidge had to kill a man (and lost her pet)
-Shiro got physically and psychologically tortured for over a rotation (and no he’s not doing okay) also he had every opportunity to go I Told You So but didn’t. Not once.
-Allura healed an entire planet, but recovering from that is slow and painful and she’s definitely drugged up and is forced to face her grief about losing her planet headon and destroys the last bit of her father as the fastest way to get her new friends to safety
And fans who make fic and fanart that shows the cast processing all of this? (Pidge with her first kill, Shiro killing his unconcious abuser, Allura’s grief)? Thank you.
