Souvenirs { Tiffany & Zelo }
It was early. A little too early for someone to be balancing along the edges of the outdoor swimming pool and hoping they don't fall in. Maybe it was just her, but the beginning of trips were always boring. Finding things to do, getting used to the new scenery and the change of pace -- especially that in Jeju. Everything moved slower here, people had a little less rush in them to get up and go. Even those who were previously busy people seemed to switch off the moment they stepped foot onto the island. Not that that was such a bad thing, it was just a little boring at times. It was only the second day though. She should probably give it some time.
She'd been up for hours, unable to sleep from sheer excitement of getting away from things that caused her any kind of stress. He'd gone to take a shower, she'd immediately left the room, not wanting to be cooped up indoors much longer. The rooms were nice and all, but the difference in the air here was intoxicating. The faint smell of the fresh ocean spray throughout the hotel was something she would easily be able to get used to, and might even become tempting enough for her to one day move to the island. "Let's not think too far ahead," she whispered to herself, a light chuckle escaping her lips.
"I wonder if anyone else is awake yet." Pausing beside the pool, the tips of her toes trailing in the water, Tiffany glanced back to the hotel for only a moment before resuming her thought process.
