Good Day with Great Company | Jaek & Tiff

Jaekyung was definitely overjoyed with the scrumptious looking food parading in front of her eyes. Taking the plate, she starts pilling everything she feels like eating. Time like this is when she’s glad Taec isn’t around. It’s not like he’s the type who’s particulat about what she eats but since it’s a part of his job, Taec is particular about that one thing. 

She was almost lost it with her food and thought. She’d almost forgot the fact that she’s here with Tiff. Until the last bit of the other’s sentence. Birthday! Of course! She’d been counting days for the girl’s birthday. She’d been missing it for years and sure this year she’s going to retrieve it all. “I owe you a lot of birthdays don’t I?” she said putting another cheese tarts on her plate. Pastries are like her endgame. Easily spotted as her plate now filled with 3/4 of it. “I figure JR should already have something big planned that day so I’m gonna booked you the day after okay?” she continues looking at the girl with an assurance nod. “I’m thinking of some pampering day for you. Tell me what you feel like doing,” she said pulling the girl closer squeezing her shoulder a bit before letting go and continue with her food frenzy.

"No worries about the presents. I’d been keeping it since London," she said winking to the other grinning. Tiff is like Jaekyung’s other half. She had considered her as her siblings thus spending money on the girl is nothing and wherever she go, the thought of the girl came in just like her parents.

Tiffany took a moment to watch the other pile food onto her plate, gawking at the sheer amount of it. It'd been a long time since she'd seen a model (besides herself, of course) be willing to eat so much food. Her mind wandered for a moment about how her manager would react to this. Surely he wouldn't be thrilled that someone as successful as her was consuming so much. But it was a vacation, so she wasn't about to say anything and instead joined her, scooping her favourites onto her own dish.

Quirking an eyebrow at the other (who seemed to have snapped out of some kind of food-induced trance just now), she quickly realised what she meant and shook her head. "Oh, don't worry about it! I owe you just as ma--" She cut herself off as she caught sight of the other's plate, carefully placing a couple of pastries on her own and shaking her head with a light snort. "Wow, Jaek, I know you love them but I can't remember the last time I saw anyone eat so many pastries."

She knew Jaekyung too well by now to know that she wasn't going to back down on her offers, with her at least. They were too close to let anything like a birthday slip by without any sort of celebration."How about we take a spa day together then? It'll only be fun if I have you there with me. When was the last time we took some time out together anyway?"

The gesture alone was touching, the fact that she'd kept it close to her since London was even more so. Popping her plate down on the buffet table to pour out two glasses of orange juice, she smiled. She was closer to the other than she was with her own family -- Jaekyung had become more of a sister to her than her sister back in L.A. ever had been. "You're so good to me, Jaek," she grinned, handing her one of the two glasses.
