The way Harry hugs Louis at the VMA's (? where Louis wears the blue shirt), there's just so many feelings expressed through a hug; obviously love, but more the feeling that Harry is so safe and home with Louis, like the person you could trust EVERYTHING with, and yeah… like I don't even think it's possible to even express with words what Harry feels when hugging Louis like that, and burying his face in Louis neck… It's so beautiful!! Action speak louder than words….

Day 3/12 Days of Harry and Louis
The VMAs hug, the hug to end all hugs. (I debated choosing between this one and the very first Louis and Harry hug on TXF when the found out that the band made it through, but considering how Louis literally jumped into Harry's arms I consider that to be more of a carrying your husband across the threshold "hold" than a "hug" so here we are.) So let's recap. It was the 2012 VMAs and One Direction was nominated for Best New Artist. When they were announced the winner, Niall, Zayn and Liam all jump out of their seats and start laughing and hugging. But what do Louis and Harry do? They go right for each other. There's a very brief pause between them, probably deciding whether they should do it or not, and in the end they're just like fuck it I dont care what people say when we're together and they go in for a fantastic hug that looks like it belongs in a Nicholas Sparks movie. Do you see how Harry wraps his arms around Louis' waist? And he even closes his eyes. HE CLOSES HIS EYES. Time stopped for a few seconds I swear it did. I remember watching this live and I literally pulled a Tom Cruise and started jumping on my couch. Then I rewound it a few dozen times. But I love that their initial reaction is to hug each other. They just let everything go for a few seconds and enjoy the moment together. The most beautiful embrace I've ever seen :(
