Hey there, how are you doing lately. I just wanted to ask you to please tell me a moment between Vmin that made you question if they’re just friends. Thank you!

Hey Anon. Sorry, this ask has been sitting in my inbox for a long time. I wasn't ignoring it on purpose, but things are pretty hectic in real life and this blog keeps getting pushed back because of it.

I don't know if you're still around to see this but I might as well address the question posted here because it did make me think hard. 

Honestly, there is truly no clear moment in my memory where I would have gone...woah! now that's a couple's behavior or any particular moment which was a clear distinction which made them appear an item. in my eyes. That is because they aren't romantically together yet. So, if you were looking for a direct answer from me, this is it. There isn't any moment which cements their relationship as a romantic one.

Below is something I wanted to share which is an extension of this answer but it's more for the sake of all vminies, so please continue reading if you're interested.

The idea that they both feel something more than friendship is evident in my eyes due to the plethora of small and big instances involving vmin. I am certain, if you are in the fandom for a while, you know what these instances are. There is a reason why Vminies root for them and desire them to be 'more than friends'. I can't list down all those moments here as I am incapable of that BUT, the older vminnie blogs have done it! They've actually gone through the pain of listing down 100s of moments/ instances and declarations from both V and Jimin, swearing their love for each other. If you scroll down my page, I have reblogged one such post and when I first read it, I was totally gobsmacked at how long the list was! I still can't believe that these two get away with saying and doing such things so openly. 

And, I know JM takes the spotlight  when it comes to expressing love and care for Tae and he's often perceived to be the one who gives more and is head over heels for his soulmate but let's not forget it's Taehyung who gives us the most WTF! moments of our lives. Tae casually declaring he likes Jimin the most or that he can't live without JM, without caring to be diplomatic and right so as to please all his bandmates and the fandom alike? Does it mean nothing? Him coming up with Fri(end)s is still top tier in my opinion and it's very difficult to shake my belief on that one.

There are many examples from both sides but I am gonna end it here now and leave you guys with another of the 'we don't know what to make out of it' moment between Vmin during one of their recent lives (please ignore the horrible picture quality):

JM suddenly deciding to feed Tae cake while mouthing lyrics from Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Particularly:

Baby, I'm dancin' in the dark With you between my arms

So casual, so domestic, so...I don't care about millions watching this...lol

Hey I just started following you and I really love it here already. I am a Vminie who once believed that Tae and Jimin were more than friends. I still believe that they had something for eachother which later didn’t work out. I now believe they’re just friends. I believe that Tae and Jennie are dating. This is actually what made me believe that Vmin are now just friends. What do you think. Please don’t call me delusional.

Anywayyyy...I logged back in after what seems like an eternity and guess what! I had my first 'ask' waiting in my inbox! I couldn't ignore it, after all, all the firsts in life are really precious. hah.

Hi @handelove2 and thank you for liking this tiny space of mine. Before I attempt to reply to your ask, I wish to clarify that I do NOT claim to be an expert in Vminology. Deciphering Vmin's relationship is like deciphering the meaning of life itself, lol.

I love vmin or rather I started to fall in love with them because I found out, pretty organically about their genuine and one of a kind bond. It's really hard for me to explain what I think of their real dynamic. I mean, it's pretty clear that they're bffs and soulmates. I would call anyone who refutes this, delusional because it's not me or any random fan who created these titles for them. It's vmin themselves. They have addressed each other so innumerable times.

Now, to be absolutely honest and as a vminnie who prides herself for always supporting and celebrating VMin, no matter what tag their relationship has, I want to admit I believe there was some truth to the Jennie and Tae relationship back in the day. I also believe that they broke up and are not currently dating. And while we are at it, let's also accept that Jimin himself was in a (maybe very brief) romantic relationship as was clarified a few months back. I don't shy away from these topics, but I just prefer not to publicize them or harp about them on here because 1) This is primarily a blog created to fawn over Vmin and their bond and 2) I am not that active here anyway so whenever I post it's almost always about something I strongly feel or something that would be constantly in my head and have an absolute need to lay it out.

I don't believe that there was something between VMin in the past (romantic relationship)which didn't work out. Look at Vmin now, today in BTS' 2.0 era. Would anyone be the way they are with each other if they broke off a romantic relationship? No, absolutely not! They are still just the same. They've been literally stuck to each other post MS. Be it through official content or snapshots from their private time, VMin are almost always together. Tae is still the most amazing/handsome/talented guy ever to walk the earth if you see from Jimin's perspective, lmao! He never misses a chance to praise Tae to the skies. You can't just go back to being friends like nothing ever happened if you ever were in a romantic relationship with your BFF. These are complicated emotions and not a switch that can be turned on or off as you please.

Disclaimer: What I am now going to say is based purely on my opinion of their behavior towards each other over the past several years, their body language, their actions and reactions towards each other versus their behavior with the other members: IMO ( and I say so because to me this seems like the only logical explanation to their dynamic) these two have lingering romantic feelings for each other, despite all the other relationships they may have had in the past or present. These feelings, they have never addressed directly with each other. But they know! They both know how the other one feels. It is in fact a soft undercurrent of romance that colors all of their interactions and they let themselves flow with it. These two have some hiccups in owning up to their feelings for each other, I am not sure what is holding them back but I am sure they're not oblivious. I honestly believe and I say it with a tad bit of a concern that if they choose to never do anything about it, it is going to be extremely testing for their future life partners trying to become the no.1 of their lives. I can never imagine anyone climbing a spot higher than Taehyung in Jimin's life. And even if they do, they'll be constantly competing with his soulmate for 'the most important person in my life' title. Can you imagine a song as romantic as 4'0 clock written for someone who is not Tae's life partner but merely a bff? Exhausting! Who would even want to be in a situation like that?

Again, this is all from my perspective and purely my opinion based on what little I know of Vmin through what they choose to share with their fans. I do not wish anything bad upon their future relationships and sincerely whatever they ultimately choose, all I wish is for happiness and abundance in their personal lives.
