can you elaborate on what you didn’t like about ep3/season, ppl are saying it’s the best ep so far, even the ones who were critical of the season.

sigh

i don't understand why there's no lestat backstory in the lestat season. genuinely feel like i'm going crazy. the s1 scenes where he blows up at the dpdl dinner table - and recounts his transformation in 1x06 have more detail as pertains to his character than anything shown onscreen in 3 episodes. the nickistat relationship is summed up in "bla bla bla bipolar boyfriend bla bla" and i'm supposed to gaf when lestat monologues about his death. there's little investment in the essential building blocks that make up who his is, while basically next to nothing happens in the present timeline. no substance, just vibes. and one million glib pop culture references.

the loumand crumb in the first episode. initial louis crumbs but idc for his current storyline. i thought the stutter was a good adaptational choice but i hate daniel blurting that question a dozen times god we get it. the nickistat crumb. nicki & magnus' actors are v good (and squandered).... that's about it.
