• Some nights Jean-Jacques is quieter than usual. Not a normal quiet like " I need to recharge",  but a " I wish this would go away" silence.

• It is unbearable for you. The silence is so loud that it is heart breaking.

• In moments like these, you tell him to prepare your favorite dish. Why? To keep his head busy.

• As soon as he hears you request he promptly start getting everything needed.

• A thing you do often is add something different like " but today I feel like eating it a bit more spicy but not too much!"

• All so he can focus on making the dishes flavor balanced out.

• He will mumble under his breath while thinking on how to pull it off. Adorable, no?

• But this isn't enough to shake his pretty little head out of it. A good start, though.

• After you had your meal, you offer to help him with cleaning everything while chatting.

• Now we two outcomes here: a regular bad day and a really bad day.

Scenario 1) regular bad day:

• On this case he will answer you as you chat, he won't ask anything though, so it is up to you make conversation.

• On this scenario you should ask him what's wrong while helping him clean.

• He will resist a bit, but will let you know that he memories of his past have surfaced again.

• Before he can get too much into it, you gotta act! It's time to put down whatever you are doing and give him a back hug!

• Boy will jump a bit. He wasn't expecting it.

• Nuzzle on his back while you are at it and you will get a heavy, yet relaxing, sigh

• He will be tempted to put down what he is doing but! Someone needs to finish this cleaning right?

• So he won't let you keep doing what you were doing, he rather have you clinging like a koala on his back.

• You bet he is done faster like this.

• When all is done you let go of him and guide him to your room.

• There you let him cuddle you and you whisper sweet nothing and compliments to him!

• He will want to be a little spoon and nuzzle on your neck.

• Play with hair and hug him tight from time to time to get him to sigh in relieve again.

• He may mumble how blessed he is to have you here with him and soon will sleep!

• But as soon as he gets drowsy he will give you a sleepy kiss wherever he can reach first, nuzzle on your neck, take a deep breath and relax.

• You can't help but smile at how relaxed he seemed. It's as if some heavy burden was suddenly taken away.

• You arms are his castle, a safe place, home.

Scenario 2) a really bad day:

• On this case while you are trying to chat with him, he will rarely answer you. Just a a few yes or no and a hum.

• You know things are bad by this.

• So you excuse yourself for a bit. Why? Well to build a pillow fort!

• Childish? Maybe, but it is cozy. You find the fluffiest blankets to put in there, the most comfy pillows and of course some water and tissues. He will need it. Some other things he likes too, like a book or a snack. No candles it is a fire hazard on this situation!

• When you come back you might find him sulking.

• Gently ask him what's wrong.

• He will resist a lot to tell you. So be kind and patient he will come around it to eventually, just not now. Don't pressure him either!

• When you are both done, you gently grab his hand and walks toward the room with the fort.

• He won't say much. But when he sees the fort? He will start crying.

• On this moment he will say how lucky he is to have you with him  that now everything had beautiful colors when all his life everything was all black.

• He will cling to you before going into the fort.

• Good luck guiding you and him on it. You can do this! I have faith on you.

• He will start to say very depressing things about his past while crying and even sobbing.

• Please hold him and make yourself comfortable.

• He will cling to you for dear life, as if you were to disappear anytime.

• Now is the time to listen, as painful as it is to hear all the sobbing and the self hate comments.

• You can offer tissues to him while you listen and play with his hair.

• Hold him tight, draw circles on his back or even write a few things with your finger.

• When he is done pouring his heart out, hug him tight. As tight as you can and whisper sweet, honest feelings to him:

" nothing can get to you now, I am here. To protect, to love and to stay with you" .

• He may sob even more after it, but he needs to hear it! Take this time to craddle him and list what you love about him.

• You can feel his grip getting tighter at each word. You can feel the little sobs die down.

• And soon, he is calm enough to face you.

• Take his hair out his face and cup his cheeks!

• He will melt, you can see that the storm of emotions are gone from his eyes now, instead you see tired, thankful eyes.

•  Your sweet smile and pink-ish cheeks makes everything so distant. So so far away, like it all happened in a nightmare.

• He may lean forward to give you a kiss on the nose. A sloppy one, since he was crying, after that he is back to nuzzle your neck.

• He won't sleep so soon. But he will start to draw patterns on your back and sides.

• Kiss the top of his head for more sighs and relaxed shoulders.

• When you fall asleep he will get up slowly to not wake you up and smile at your sleeping face. He will sigh and lean back on your shoulder.

• If you happen to stir, he will get a little stiff, but soon will relax when he feels you cuddling his head. Now he is ready to sleep.

Regardless of the scenario:

• When morning comes, he will be awake before you. But he won't leave yet.

• He will just stay there, looking at your peaceful sleeping face and trace gently, with feather like touch, your features.

• He will wait for you to wake up. When you do he will smile and thank you for spending time with him. Will also apologize for the "inconvenience "

• Please reassure him that is ok to feel sad.

• He will silently swear to himself to protect you now and forever. He won't ever leave you, ever. Even if it means giving his true name away.

• In the event he say this promise out loud, well, he will have an earful:

" I appreciate you wanting to protect me, but please, don't sacrifice yourself. I want to LIVE with you, wake up every morning to you and hold you like yesterday"

• His eyes will be glossy from the tears pooling. He will try to argue that for him, you are the most important thing in the world but your glare will put that down:

"I-i... am sorry. I- I just want to be with you too. I will fight for you! Whatever it takes, but... I will make sure I will come back home"

• That made you feel a lot better! So take your time to squish his cheek and kiss him.

• You both giggle, he gets red like a tomato. No matter how many times you two get intimate, he always blushes. Adorable.

•  Now you are sure he is feeling better. The bad day is just a thing of the past, it may come back again, but you are here to save him.

• He is not alone anymore those ghosts cannot harm him any longer, because his home is right here, giggle at him.

• After all this emotional train, he is back to his normal routine. He helps you undo the fort too, if that was the case!

• He will be clinging more than usual for the next few days.

• Gotta level up your skill to do your daily routine while having him tugging at your sleeve or hugging you!

• As lovely as this is, it still stings how people could be so cruel to someone so kind.

• So this time, you promise to yourself if someone ever hurts him, they are done for.

He is a shy person, he only got his first hand shake from Noé so you can imagine how much of a big step this is for him.

So the first time you ever cuddled together was a bit awkward.

You had to take the first step to cuddles.

You could go by two approaches:

1-asking him;

2- dragging him;

For scenario 1:

You would need to be a little persistent. As soon as you suggest cuddles the man freezes.

You can't see his face because of his hair, but his ears are red. When it sink in what you actually asked for? He will be red until the neck!

He will say ( or try to) how nobody asked that of him before. Jean-Jacque is nervous, stuttering, sweating a bit and doesn't really know what to do.

After a bit of convincing from you - " it will be cozy! You don't have to cuddle with me now, but I promise it is a nice experience!"

He will give in as soon as you beam a beautiful smile at him. But he is still nervous. If you tell him he can take his time? Boy, he will appreacite you and feel his heart coming out of his chest.

As I said earlier, he doesn't really know what to do, so it is up to you to cuddle him!

Now for route 2:

If you drag him to cuddle, he will be beyond confused at first.

What are you doing? Who knows, but you being close feels very nice, but it is also nerve wrecking!

He will try to ask you, stuttering, what is going on.

As soon as you explain it to him, he might either freeze or hide on you, it all depends on your timing!

For the cuddling in it itself:

I see he probably prefer to be the little spoon most of the times, specially on the first few times.

So go ahead and make him comfortable in your arms!

You will be able to feel the heat from his cheeks and his heart beating. Jean-Jacque is in heaven. He could die happily now!

But he doesn't know what to do with his arms. Be a little patient, yes?

As soon as all this nervousness go away, he will cling to you like a koala.

He will worry about your arm going numb or getting tired of the position. So he will stutter his concerns to you and that is adorable??

After you reassure him, he will relax a bit again.

Play with his hair and he will fall asleep soon! I feel like he might drool a bit, the man works hard so he gets very tired.

If you want to chat with him or just look at him, please, hold his cheeks and brush his bangs away.

The sight will be beyond adorable, the red cheeks, the shining eyes, the trembling lips.

I feel like he usually smells like a seasoning he used earlier. But he is very very warm!

He could stay there with you the whole day. But he does get worried about you staying too long on the same position or what he will cook for you and other things like that, so he might whisper to you that he has things to attend.

He will leave your cuddling session with a broken heart. He wanted to stay. You are comfortable, warm and safe. A safe place and safe and sound on his arms.

On the rare occasion he is the big spoon, it would be because he felt like he had to protect you.

For example, somebody was saying mean things about you or you were sad.

Then he would cuddle you and hold you for dear life. It is as if he ever let go of you, you will gone.

He will whisper good things about you, what he likes about you, how good you are to him, but in case you were not present when people were bad mouthing you, he won't say anything, but the grip will be tighter.
