My dad is literally the italian female volleyball team's n1 fan (he used to play volleyball) and it's so funny cause the male team doesn't suck or anything (they're actually pretty good from what i understand) but the women's team IS better (37 win streak with their best players not even playing cause they're letting them rest + giving the rookies a chance) so he just gushes about the female team 24/7, like, u say volleyball to him and he's only talking about the female team and players and he's going to see a match soon to cheer on his fave, he also knows im queer and was like "DID YOU KNOW SO MANY ARE MARRIED TO WOMEN😮" and i went "well, it's a female pro sport so... yeah, im not really shocked, most female pro sports are full of queer players" and his fave is one of those married to a woman and anyway that's pretty cool, maybe i should go to the match with him and gf shop, bet he'd be thrilled to have a female pro volleyball player as in-law (for legal reasons the gf shopping part is a joke ajsjsjejke but i may still attend a match with him cause i love supporting women's sports!)
