this rewatch is so enlightening to me in terms of how im reluctantly shipping vod with oregon thanks to the overtly implied subtext and oregon being super in love with her - but the reason i never could get 100% behind is coz i hate their dynamic. it might work fine in a friendship but if they were to ever cross that line, wow boi, it’s a landmine. oregon is so far’s vod’s ass, literally does any and everything vod tells her to do because to her, vod’s approval is everything and until & unless she works on her near constant identity crisis, vod is gonna bulldoze through her. that’s not to say vod doesn’t care/love her coz she does but she’s vod and so self-involved it’s borderline narcissistic and oregon thrives on praise/attention, specifically vod’s, which is ironic and sad
but yeah, this rewatch is good and i finally understand why i wasnt big on this ship
