Living in Iceland, one learns to read the weather quite well, and Fannar had been eyeing the clouds all afternoon. The rain had held off longer than he had expected (although being up to your shoulders in the hot springs with the rain on your face was not exactly an unpleasant experience — at least in Fannar's opinion) but it had started pouring as they made their way back to his flat, and they are both thoroughly soaked.
"I bet it will be sunny in an hour's time," Fannar says with a soft laugh, hanging their coats up on the hooks just inside the front door. "The weather here changes very quickly. We sometimes have sun, gales and snow in the same day."
With that accomplished, Fannar reaches up to push his fingers through his hair, wet despite the hood of his coat. "Would you like to put your clothes in the drier? I can find you something to wear, and you can also take a shower, if you're cold or anything."

“Interesting,” Magnus said with so much enthusiasm. ( not )
“If you’re bored you can just say it, really, we’ve known each other this long I don’t mind entertaining you for a bit. Not to brag-- but I can do a few card tricks and whats this? A kroner behind your ear?” When did that get there? Magnus gave the one kroner to Gilbert after pulling it seemingly from his ear. “Thank you, thank you, I’m here every night.”
Patient with Gilberts pressuring personality, can do tricks and all with a smile; Magnus truly was a triple threat.

There is deep, burning concern in the furrow of Fannar's brow, but more than that, there's concentration. He's long since learned to identify hypothermia, and what to do about it; exposure has always been an issue, historically, in his country. Thankfully he had found Gilbert before hypothermia could more fully set in - so, here he is, rubbing his arms to try and get some warmth back into them, now he's sure it's safe to do so. What the fuck had happened? What might have happened if Fannar hadn't found him?
He looks up at Gilbert when he speaks, and that furrowed brow relaxes; concern, gratitude that he is alright, confusion, all in one. Oh, he's worried. Terribly worried.
"The blizzards here are terrible," He answers, glancing out the window; a lull in the blizzards had allowed him to find Gilbert, but i's a total white-out once more, and there would be no way to keep one's way should they venture beyond the door. They've got everything they need here, and they have no choice but to be self-sufficient for now. If anyone needs to go out, it will be Fannar.
"What... happened? Why were you outside, in this weather? You were just... sitting there. What happened?"
Roadtrip with @vogelschadel
With tired eyes she looked at the road in front of her. Hoping that they reached their first destination soon. Every now and then she looked at her older brother who was sitting next to her on the passenger seat and apparently trying to read the map. She thought it was actually a good idea to be on the road with him again and spend some time with him, because she realized that she herself needed some time off and some fresh air. But after several hours of driving, with traffic jams and crazy drivers on the roads, she began to have some doubts.
With a quiet sigh she shook off the bad thoughts and said to Gilbert again. "Are you sure this is the right place? We should be there soon, right?", they were on their way to Italy and had the plan to make stops in different cities so as not to overdo it with the driving. She didn't want to sound annoyed or tired, but she longed just too much for a cold beer and something hearty to eat. However, when they drove past another highway sign where the name of the city where they wanted to go was not there, there was some concern.
