It was unusual to see a Slytherin leave their table in favor of another house, but every day Riley would find himself plopping down next to his best friend, Katherine at the Ravenclaw table. Most often the other kids and usually the teachers would send him looks, but he never minded much-- he could always just send them a look back. It shouldn't matter to them that he found the company of a Ravenclaw so much more tolerable than the company of another Slytherin.
