The Eu Referendum
So, yesterday was the result of the Eu Referendum and I know loads of people my age were furious about the end result with the uncertainty of our future and how our future would possibly change compared to how it is at the moment. Now, there are lots of different opinions from a vast majority of ages all varying in opinions and wanting their say but perhaps being criticised by someone who doesn't share the same views. In my opinion, I don't think our generation were given an equal opportunity to vote but I also believe that it is unfair that people were given the right to decide our future for us instead of asking the generation who it will affect most. I also don't think my generation were fully aware of the risks and the benefits of both sides as both the brexit and the remain side weren't entirely truthful about what the pros were and also their propaganda. I don't think the risks of leaving the eu were properly addressed by either side as they were so persistent on winning they forgot to inform the younger generations about what their future may look like depending on the outcome of thursday's referendum. On this blog I will be updating about the changes that could possibly happen from day 1 whether they be positive or something that could fracture of generations future. If you have any opinions on the posts that appear on this blog then feel free to have your opinion this is a place for the young to have their say on the effects of the Eu Referendum!
