“All righty, I’ll just hang onto this nifty little thing, then,” she says, flipping it up into the air, catching it, and putting into the hood of her hoodie for safekeeping.
“Oooh, you know, I thought I saw something about that, but I just thought it was someone’s fanfiction ideas that they wanted to keep out of sight, ahahahaha. Don’t need anybody knowing what you’re really getting up to while you’re supposed to be working, eh?” Thursday laughs and then goes back over to the desk where she had found it.
“Okay, so,” she says while taking the papers on experimental technology for dimensional travel. “I think the first question I have is, if these are real notes on such a thing, and as you indicated it may be one of the Boss’ ‘tricks’, why would he hide these notes down here where anybody could get to them? I guess maybe they thought everybody would think the same thing I did and look right over it to get to their TPS report cover pages instead. Unlucky for the Boss because I just so happen to have a helpful Narrator on my side.” Thursday shoots a friendly grin up at the ceiling, where everybody tends to look when addressing a Narrator. She then goes back to reading the papers.
However, moments later she stops and looks up at the mention of a lock box.
“Eh? Oh, hey, was that always there?” she asks while letting out a little chuckle and going over to it to look at it. “Oh, so now I need a key card too? Okay, I’ll go back to my little scavenger hunt over here. So far that shiny stapler is proving less than useful!”
While she goes about searching for this key card, she starts humming the theme song to The Neverending Story. Eventually she does come across a little card that has no distinctive markings on it whatsoever.
“Ahahaha, here we go! Is this it, Narrator?” she says while holding it up towards the ceiling for him to see. “They really ought to do a better job of hiding these things so everyday people like me can’t just open up random drawers and find them!”
