Quick panel redraw I made tonight of Sickgoop McHubris in panel 2 of page 1-22-45 of @comicaurora . I couldn't be arsed about the tattoos at this angle, but the angle/pose was too neat not to do.
And now a thunderstorm is about to start, so I'm off to fall asleep to that rather than trying to draw the tattoos <3
My art for day 4 of @aurorabigbang’s duo week! For the theme of opposites/narrative parallells, I chose to draw Tam and Erin (or perhaps the void dragon and light dragon…)
This is in a notably different/simpler style than the others, but it was quite fun to make!
You Guys think that the reason why Walter and Lucy had such a easy time with their vessels compared to life is because Lucy and walter since they are the same primordial have the septrenn to take the excess Power that would overwhelm Tam/Erin while life only hás alinua to hold the entirety of their being
Day 11 of clicking to random Aurora pages and finding something neat that Red did because I don't wanna go to bed yet
Pages: 1.3.28, 1.6.5 (Minor Spoilers)
Now that right there is just a fun parallel. Not sure if this sort of thing happened anywhere else, I just remembered the moment with Erin when I ended up on the page with the moment with Alinua.
There're also some differences that I am not qualified to read into but will anyway. The biggest one that jumps out to me is the scale; Alinua is tiny compared to Life, and on the page right after this, she wakes up screaming. Meanwhile, Erin is a much bigger part of his panel, visually being the central part of it and acting as the audience window to see the Void Dragon. Erin also spends his next page talking about the Void Dragon like a problem he can solve. I think this is a good way of showing the differences between both Life and the Void Dragon, as well as between Alinua and Erin. Alinua starts off scared of everything and feeling really small, while Erin gets to be the super gifted and talented and brilliant Elemental Magus with a rather prominent hubris problem.
Or maybe the word "Finally" is just a keystone part of Primordial vocabulary-
