The collective energy behind the Celebration of Life, at least for its first night, is considerably less overwhelming in comparison to the last festival. It still leaves you feeling alone... But you are not.
You had come to a smaller stall set aside from the main stalls; its charismatic vendor had loudly called all in range over to peruse their wares, which consisted of trinkets and charms that shined underneath crystal lamps. Some glowed, like you; some charms rattled upon touch, as though alive. A little place of magic. The arcane had always drawn you close.
To your surprise, another small being of the void had been drawn here as well. Its outlines of grey and white shake in your vision unsteadily; horns far greater than yours, marking the vague shape of some devilish creature. You want to make friends with it. Your wings reach out to the little knight, gently nudging it closer to the showcase, if it lets you. You patiently wait for the little ghost to reach out for something; hopefully something that it can’t reach, but you can. Your eye can’t exactly trace where it looks except for when its husk turns.
