He never liked the fireworks.. I'm not sure if they shot off any last night, but it was definitely a possibility. People will shoot them off all week. What if he moved down here to lay with me?? Cause he would push through into my lap with his little needle nose so I would hold him.

Arguably, the most American thing I'm doing today is indulging in other cultures that were brought here by immigrants and the love for people around the world. We are drinking Soju, getting Tex-Mex for dinner (as well as probably making hot dogs and cheeseburger sliders at like fucking midnight). I'm about to make French Toast while listening to some old nostalgia-ridden country music. I might also go to my local Chinese spot for a snack cause the lady that runs it is a first generation immigrant and her food FUCKING SLAPS.
