Mistletoe for Ignis and Fancy but it's just Ignis kissing the top of his head and calling him Sport bc they're this close to adopting all three of them.

"I don't think I've run into you yet, hi, 'm Ignis." That's.. a whole-ass demon. they have a tail. and horns. but they're a survivor?? They look like one, maybe.
Jake looked up at what, in his eyes, definitely wasn’t a survivor, and maybe could have been a killer if he was a trial right now but… didn’t have the same feel as killers do. Maybe they were something else entirely?—Or just a killer good at hiding their aura.
Immediately on edge, Jake responds very guardedly. “…Jake,” he greeted, frowning and leaning back. “Who the—what the fuck are you?” He certainly wasn’t being polite about it.
>>catch me imagining Killer Ignis (Who ranges between 7-12 feet tall) With a Dweet dangling from each arm and Fancy on their shoulder like: "They wanted to feel tall."
It's apparently Dwight hunting season and Ignis has gotten a good haul
🧵
Ignis looks up at Bark. Tilts his head.
"You uhh... need a hand, up there?"
There were a lot of traps that Jake was used to in the Fog. Bear traps that could break bone, pools of blood that were like walking through quicksand, the Hag’s glyphs. He was not used to this kind of trap, which was likely why he’d gotten caught in it the first place.
At least the nauseating swaying had stopped, because he’d stopped trying to get himself undone from the ankle-hold snare that had him dangling upside-down maybe three feet or more off the ground. It did not help the dizziness that came from all the blood being rushed to his head.
He was taking a second to recuperate from his numerous failed attempts of escaping when someone asked him a question and he realized someone else had been standing here for who knew how long—someone recognizable, at least. Not the worst person it could have been either. At least.
Jake looked up at Ignis, through surprisingly clear vision because for once at least his hair wasn’t getting in the way. “No—I’m hanging in here just—fine,” he said sarcastically. It was amazing how bad one man could be at accepting help.
"You had an entire bottle of peppermint Schnapps, and you DIDN'T let me use some of it? The nerve of some people." The bartender just wants to make fancy drinks don't mind him.
Feel free to scavenge the bottle if you want… he couldn’t drink all of it.
Unfortunately, he is not currently conscious to answer that. He’s got uhh.. other problems.
trick or treat? (:
Trick!
Wonder if they'll will even notice the ace of hearts missing from one of their decks. Is this your card, Ignis?
The Demon, an apt name for this.. creature, stalked the trail grounds, snarling as it hunted down survivors. Its many eyes searched, hungry, looking for the possible meal that would come their way.
They remembered this one. This... Jake? Jake seemed right, but names escaped them. They always did when they were on the hunt.
The music, the bouncing, almost club beat in their ears, kept them focused as they followed the other, before charging and lunging, hoping to land a sting.
So far he hadn't seen the killer at all. The terror radius had grazed him while the killer was in chase elsewhere, but that was it, really. There had been three hooks already, and Jake was long due for his own. It didn't really surprise him when he looked up to spot the large killer rushing towards him, long tail poised.
Jake was already starting to run, but the stinger caught him in the shoulder. It cut through fabric into the flesh below and, while it wasn't a grievous wound, it hurt like a bitch. More than usual, like someone had decided to inject lava directly into his veins. He hissed, clutching his shoulder for a brief second before he made it to a window, vaulting over it and sprinting off with a burst of speed towards the shack, pausing only at the back wall to catch a breath, inspect the wound for the few seconds he could. This killer was new, or at least Jake hadn't ever met them. They did feel a tad... familiar, though, in a strange, subconscious way.
Being new, he also didn't know what the hell the tail-stinger had injected him with, what it would do or how fast it would act. It was just a pulsating burn, for now. Jake let out a shaky, pained breath and glanced into the door of the shack, looking past to the outside to see if he was still being pursued.
