Oh hopefully... I'll buy it myself for sure :D And I can't imagine how critic reception can be bad ;) Oh my, that's my thought excactly! Actually I started to play GK2 when I was like 13 but the game crushed in some moment and wouldn't work further and I'm glad it didn't because at 13 I wouldn't percept it in this way like I do now. And von Glower is one of the most interesting characters :) And wow your idea sounds so, so great! :O You'll have a constant reader in me, that's for sure :D
And you know, I wrote to that actor who played von Glower, Peter Lucas, he’s Polish like me so I wrote in Polish some words about how awesome he played this character etc and he’s so kind! He answered me and was very sweet :) Sorry to spam your askbox so much, but I have lots to say hehe, I hope I’m not bothering you ;)
I can’t imagine critic reception being bad either. I mean, it’s Sins of the Fathers we’re talking about. It can’t possibly go badly unless everyone’s tastes took a nosedive for the worst.
Agreed, it would have been a real shame if the subtext was lost to us because we were too young. Another thing that would have gone WELL over my head would have been the real nature of his relationship with von Zell, even though von Zell acts in every way like a jealous, bitter, psycho ex boyfriend. XDVon Glower is definitely one of the most interesting characters in the series, if not THE most interesting. And thanks, I’m glad you like the idea!
Aw, that was really nice of him! Have you listened to that skype call with him, Jane Jensen and Dean Erickson talknig about shooting GK2? It really sounds like they had a great time while working on the game. I think they put the whole thing on youtube or something.(Also, I know this is random, but I love your language! Sadly I can speak only a few words, but I really like it. I heard some when I was little by my cousins' paternal grandfather - he was a Polish Jew who was supposed to move to Israel after the war but ended up staying in Italy after meeting his future wife - and I remember I absolutely loved how it sounded.)
And you’re not bothering at all! I loved getting chances to talk about the GK series. Hey, a suggestion - how about we keep talking by reblogging this? It’s simpler for both, and this way it’s easier to keep track of the whole conversation.
