Volkmann’s ischemic contraction

Result of a missed forearm compartment syndrome or damage to the brachial artery typically from supracondylar fractures with resultant muscle ischemia. Ischemia leads to contraction of the long flexors and extensors of the forearm. The flexors are bulkier so there is more contraction noted.
