what's your reasoning on the "2 beds is better than 1" statement? I'm very curious

oh lol now I’m scared I didn’t think people ever read what I say in tags :))

See when you have 1 bed you have to share it or else some poor person is going to sleep on the floor and that makes for a very sturdy argument for why they should be sharing a bed.

But when you have too many beds, there is no reason to be sharing one which makes it way more awkward because one of them needs to think of a logical reason for why they should be sharing a bed when there actually is no logical reason (because there are multiple beds). and if they don’t, because they’re cowards, or self conscious of the way they sleep like a starfish, feelings will get hurt because they think the other person doesn’t want to share a bed with them (they do).

So the first way this could go is “yeah I need to sleep in the bed closest to the bathroom because I have explosive diarrhea and need to make a mad dash to the toilet in the middle of the night but you can stay in this one too because you’ve already unpacked your stuff near it,,,there is enough space for both of us to sleep in the desired bed..” and the 2nd outcome is simply sleeping in seperate beds and being angsty because of the seemingly unrequited pining because person B didn’t try to come up with an excuse to sleep in the same bed.

yeah anyways I stan the multiple beds but maybe it’s just me being tired of the “oh nooo 1 bed” and wanting the explosive diarrhea excuse instead 🥲
