When I was in New Orleans, I was in a shop getting a tattoo, and talking to this guy who turned out to be a voodoo priest (if that's the right term) after talking for about two hours and getting along great,my tattoo was done and he told me that I gave off very earthy and witch like energy,so he gave me this birdcage as a gift, and told me that it traps bad spirits and protects me from harm. Obviously I wanted to do more research on it because I'm very uneducated about voodoo, however I can't find anything about it so I figured why not take to Tumblr and ask the community because the last thing I want is to have something in my house that's potentially harmful even though I was told it's protecting me So if anyone from the voodoo community,or anyone who is legitimately educated about it can give me some info on this I would greatly appreciate it! 🌼
