Vampiric Companion: Vorlog
“Despair has its own claims:- Dracula
When a vampire uses the power “willing slave”, the creature becomes known as a “Vorlog” a creature who is utterly dedicated to their master. However, Master Vampires, Dracula, and Nosferatu can use a more powerful version, called “The Dark Kiss” which doesn’t just alter their behavior, it actually makes them into a different more powerful creature known as a Vorlog, a powerful creature who can use its power. Vorlogs look like normal humans who have a slight fever and if you look really closely they have slightly sharp claws. Normally the Vorlog is a slave who must serve its master, but once its master dies they become free...albiet with extreme mental damage. However if the Vorlog willingly became a vorlog, they stay that way even after their master dies, which can be....a problem. They go increasingly insane and lonely, pinning for their master, and they normally do one of three things. 1) To try to avenge their master 2) Drain the wisdom of mortals and pretend that the wisdom drained mortal is in fact their “Master”. 3) Find a new vampire to serve. Its pretty sick.
