I can't just say ONE good thing about the way you roleplay Yondu. That's not fair! There's just so much -flails arms cause words fail me at just how good you are at roleplaying him- I ADORE SEEING YOU ON MY DASH YOU BUTTERFLY YOU! From his realism of his character hat you have pinned down, the accent in his writing, his thought process, his self hatred and grieving, EVERYTHING!! It's just too good. Too good for this website I swear to god.

what is ONE THING you like about the way i play my character?

Anon Said; What I like about your RPing - I'm not in the fandom and we don't interact, but you have his speech down pat. Loved the few times you wrote out the accent and mannerisms. <3

Anon Said; I know it says one thing, but I have things that I like about your interpretation that are linked so for sure the way you handle how his past informs his current relationships. You really build dimension into him and show how dynamic he is as a character (it especially comes out when you get bits of his inner narrative).

Though Anastasia hadn't been the most welcoming host after his crash landing, she'd done more than enough to help him get everything in order and she'd given him shelter despite their obvious clashes in personality. It certainly beat dying in the cold, that was for sure. With that in mind he figured he'd offer her something in return, he'd argue it was intended purely to square any debts he owed her but that hadn't been something he'd ever cared about with anyone prior.

His ship was fixed and he was about ready to leave, maybe he could even find Quill and teach him a lesson for failing to find him on the damned underdeveloped rock he'd landed on. First, however, he had that unfinished business to take care of. -- Sitting himself down in the seat nearest to her, he regarded her for a long moment, ears occasionally flicking as he considered how to word it. In the end, winging it seemed to work best.

@whcwashe | Emily is such a darling and has stuck with me for a long while regardless of the trash muse I pick up. I was so excited to find someone that played Liv and gosh she just does such justice for her muse, especially since the show certainly didn’t do right by her (imo). I’ve loved talking back and forth regardless of what it’s been about and gosh any thread we have is so much fun. Just go follow, alright? You won’t regret it.

@vorxkoroleva | Miranda is another person who has stuck with me for a VERY long time (gosh I will never understand you people) and she’s just an amazing person. Not only is she always super supportive and lovely to talk to (even if, again, I’m bad at maintaining contact with people ahHH) but she is also an amazing writer with a fascinating muse. Anastasia is such a strong character but sometimes that stubborn strength works against her and it’s just so interesting to interact with her. Folllooowwww herrrrr!

@cxpt | Though we’ve not interacted much ooc aside from plotting details and the like, I really look up to this mun because she just seems so nice and has such skill with her writing. Were it not for her, I’d still be super intimidated by novella style roleplaying and I really thank her for getting me braving that unknown. Not only that but her Steve is absolutely wonderful, so well written and guarded just as expected yet also vulnerable. Just, yes, you’re missing out if you’re not following tbh.

Seedy, out of the way bars were always one of his favourite places to go. Easiest way to pick up jobs; people were always looking to hire smugglers or other disreputable types for disreputable deeds. And this was the type of place they look for ‘em. 

After decades of practice, Yondu knew how to pick out the people that didn’t belong in places like this. A nervous man dressed just a little too nice for such a fine establishment as this hole in the wall? Well, that was an easy mark. Man wanted somethin’, man was inexperienced in dealing, easy to take advantage of.

Another type that didn’t quite fit in with the scenery? Women that weren’t either whores or barmaids. Sure, there were plenty of women on the wrong side of the law - but even among Ravagers the sexes (assuming one had a sex) tended to stay separate. More to avoid any messes than ‘protect the women’ or some shit like that; Aleta could take out half his crew just by herself. But, some men go stupid around pretty ladies. Easier to just avoid having to clean up any bloodstains.

And that thought brought him back to the present; he took a swig of his drink, locking eyes with the woman who had been staring at him for the past twenty or so minutes. She was one of the types that didn’t fit in; too clean, too healthy looking. So, she either wanted something from him or wanted to punch his lights out for whatever reason.

Might as well get the ball rolling.

Yondu cast a glance to one of his men, sending a silent signal to him to be on guard but stay where he is. He leaned back in his seat, eyeing the woman once more - this time with a lopsided, cocksure grin.

“You lookin’ for some fun, sweetheart, or just admirin’ the scenery?”

Do not go for something strong right off the back. I suggest something sweet but not too sweet, like Angry Orchard. It’s a cider but with a low alcohol content. Much delish. HAVE FUN!

oooh yes see i need to start with something that won’t make me completely hate alcohol lmao. the night my cousin turned 21 she got completely hammered and she told me how that was and i was like noooooope. i only had some wine, but i’ll have to try that. and thanks! :) <3
