I wanna try out KillTeam soon (and even possibly start collecting a funny lil guard army) so i decided to write out a short lil backstory for these goobers so that i have something to work with :)

given that Kill Team is more "your goobers" focused than warhammie proper, i figured id have more motivation to play with them and actually try to get better if i was emotionally attached to them.

The traditional Vostroyan greeting when encountering a person of import is to do an incredibly low, almost acrobatically masterful Slav squat.

Nothing brings a joyous tear to the eye like seeing a full regiment of Vostroyans, bathed in the streaky glow of an in industrial sunrise, squatting in unison so that their new Commissar feels welcome.

Honestly, in terms of skill set, the people we selected to crew our Leman Russ Vanquisher were faultless. But, truth be told, we probably should have intermingled them more often first.

Imperial Guard/”Astra Militarum”

One of my favourite factions, and one I keep looking into ways of fielding for cheap.

Name a regiment and I’ll find a way for you to play it on a small budget, without sacrificing what makes it so characterful. Elysians, Steel Legion, Death Korps, Vostroyans, Valhallans, Cadians, something based on ancient or medieval times, the legendary Female Guards(wo)man, tanks for all of the above - hit me up and I’ll make it work, bonus points if you have some sort of restriction in mind.

No recasts (makes it too easy), the minimum of Citadel miniatures.
