As he stands there, brimming with grief, brimming with life, the woman lies there in silence. The woman dies for him. We watch it happen. We read about it happening. We come to know it well. - Aoko Matsuda

A woman: *dies*
Me: oh my god this is just like in Lost
The thing I don't think people understand is everyone in Lost sucks a little bit. They're all "flawed" but the men are flawed because of who they are and the women are flawed because the writers are flawed. Like people's biggest issue with Kate is the love triangle, not her murder. People's issue with Claire is that she's annoying, but when the writers finally gave her something to say besides "my baby" she got really interesting. I think Juliet's biggest flaw is the writer's trying to make the love square thing happen again, causing Juliet to seem like every other insecure woman just before she dies. Sun was always a baddie but again the writers giving her this weird assasin plotline instead of us seeing her as a mother was such a weird move, and ended up causing people to say she was a bad mother. Shannon was written to be unlikeable but the writers gave her ONE WORD IN THE SIDEWAYS and EXPECTED everyone to get on board with Shayid as endgame when we hadnt thought about it in 4 seasons?? (I like Shayid dont get me wrong, but the writers did Shannon extra dirty in s6). Charlotte was not written well, Ana Lucia I think gets undeserved hatred but she still had more potential. Libby don't even get me started on. I just wish we could have gotten more well written women characters. I wish they would kiss each other.
He's just grumpy because he misses his doc.
