How I spent a good portion of my afternoon after applying for a new updated Passport. As a woman who’s disabled, trans, biracial and lower on the income spectrum, voting matters to me now more than ever before. I fit into too many minority/disenfranchised/underprivileged categories not to let my voice be heard. Especially when the current administration and its followers are working so hard to see people like me erased, silenced, killed, further in poverty, and forgotten. For many on the other side or that don’t feel “it’s that important” my and many other’s sentiments is looked upon as dramatic or a lie. It’s easy to say these things sitting behind a place of privilege and obliviousness. Vote to save those of us who are fighting hard to exist safely. #ivotedtoday #govote #voteevilout #resistance #transpeoplewillnotbeerased #voteblue2018 votelikeyoureoneofus #wewillresisttyranny https://www.instagram.com/p/Bp26y0FFX08SVmqk8X6PfGnx7HZ8lRgtelGxuI0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=5d65ineja3pq
