I got my early voting ballot in the mail and finished it yesterday, and let me tell you if you have the opportunity to do that, do it. I was able to take all the time I needed to sit down and research every name on it and make a clear and informed decision. I know there is a lot of information out there about registering to vote, which is awesome, but for folks who have been registered for a long time I say get the early voting ballot and take your time with it.

Things you need to keep in mind:

- Remember you must provide a working link to an online profile of some sort (tumblr, deviantart, ffnet, ao3, instagram...) and a username. There is a space provided for these at the beginning of each ballot.

- Voting for yourself is not allowed.

- Any ballots that don’t follow those two rules will be deleted without notice.

- You may vote in as many or as few categories as you’d like. There’s a “none of the above” option in each category or alternatively you may leave the categories blank.

Hello everyone!

I know you must all be very excited (we are too!) because voting is starting very soon! It was planned to start on the 23rd (tomorrow) but our staff need an extra few days to get some things sorted. You can use that time to get some extra reading done! Did you know there were over 150 authors/artists nominated this year? So much talent!
