Asking for science but what do you think Law's biggest weakness is? How does it effect those around him/those he care about most? Is he willing to change?
Unprompted
That’s a hell of a question. Like, what isn’t wrong with this dumpster truck fire of a man? He’s self-destructive, a workaholic, has massive anger issues, sadistic as all hell, emotionally stunted and distant, struggles with actually caring about people, has depression ... I could just go on and on. But I think the issue that works against him the most would have to be his self-destructive tendencies.
I mean, overworking himself is horrible and he shouldn’t but at least he’s doing something to forward his goals and help his crew. The self-destructive thing leads to him not only throwing himself into horribly dangerous situations but also him never really taking care of himself. He forgets to eat, rarely sleeps, though that’s not 100% his fault, he tends to push himself far beyond his capabilities, both with his powers and his physical care. Like, if he is sick he won’t stop working. In fact, he’ll want to be his own doctor and then try to keep going. And more than once he’s used so much of his Op Op fruit ability that he’s shaved off a few years of his life. Law just doesn’t care about himself.
For the most part this affects his crew and loved ones by making them worry about him. It definitely adds to their concern that one day he’ll push himself so far he’ll just keel over and die, which is a real possibility with his devil fruit. I guess, on another level his self-destructive tendencies could lead to endangering his crew. Although, Law does always try his hardest to keep them out of danger without locking them up in the sub and demanding they never leave.
As for that last question, nope. He really isn’t willing to change this about himself. Law doesn’t care and he will continue to not care about his body. There are small things he does try, like remembering to eat regularly, but he will continue to push himself beyond what he’s capable of if it means his goals will be achieved and his beloved crew of idiots are safe.

‘ that'd be your job. '
@vowofskill said: I need to know for science what ‘Shigi thinks about Zoro just collecting all these legendary swords and acting unimpressed about them.
You know, that’s a good question that I haven’t really thought about. See in R/Loguetown, I think she wasn’t really that judgmental and was more focused on identifying Wado that she didn’t really piece two and two together. Tashigi is well, a ‘sword nerd’ as Zoro states and he’s not wrong. She would know about the famous swords because that’s what she does. Tashigi freaks out over them like a kid discovering Christmas. It’s ingrained in her character and she wouldn’t be herself if that part was gone. And it makes her all the more endearing. Kuina ( or Koshiro ) probably never talked to Zoro about swords and their meanings while they trained together. Maybe because they felt he was still not able to grasp that or something else entirely. Who knows. Main point is that no one probably told him about the importance of the sword that he carries outside of ‘this sword used to be Kuina’s so I got to give it respect and meaning to carrying on our promise’. Just goes to show you despite him not being good with feelings, cares more about the person behind it more than the sword itself.
And in Punk Hazard, Tashigi was more interested in Shusui, to the point that she ignored the poison gas, bleeding shoulder, and Zoro carrying her at the moment she saw the sword. I think she personally has a neutral stance on Zoro not knowing about the swords but at the same time a little peeved that he doesn’t know the significance of them. Like the history and what is means to wield the swords and what that represents. More like the symbolism than anything else. At least in Wano, Zoro is paying a little more attention than he would had been in the beginning of the series and I think if Tashigi did appear again in canon ( Oda, please let her be in the Wano arc I am begging you ), her opinion would change a little.
@vowofskill said: "You're trouble."
Tashigi fishes through her marine coat pockets and hands him a mirror, luckily without tripping and breaking said thing over to Zoro. “Look into this Roronoa. That’s what REAL trouble looks like”.
" You don't need to cling to me! "
Hiyori only clung tighter to the man despite his protests, her arms wrapping around his just a bit tighter. It was almost amusing really, the man was really annoyed with her actions. Cheeks puffed out angrily she just pouted, quickly shaking her head. “Hmph! Oh hush!’

( zoro: and I took that personally )
