Vows

I am here for the good and the bad.  

The flawed and the flawless.  

For the moments both euphoric and heartbreaking.  

I will be here for all it.  

Present and compassionate.  

Knowing perfection is an illusion and that compassion is the only way forward.  

I will try to remember that change is inevitable and that I am worthy.  

Try to remember I am worthy.  

Try to remember I am worthy.  

Worthy of love, forgiveness, compassion, and of the life I want.

Okay. So, I failed. Badly. I was bingeing my way through almost all of last week and gained seven pounds. Yes, I know it is entirely my fault and I do feel very, VERY ashamed for it. I vow improvement and I’ll work on changing my attitude... oh gosh, I’m so sorry for what I’ve done, body.

As of today, I will stop bingeing. FOREVER. No  eating when I’m full anymore, not on birthdays, on christmas or any other special occasion.

I promise to listen to my body and to embrace hunger for a little bit. I’ll feed my body good food to nourish it and enable me to do everything I could ever want to do. This is not limiting, it is freeing and it will be such a huge step in improving myself. 

I care about myself and I will act like it.
